The top male and female high school milers (max field 16 per gender). Based upon predetermined time standards both male and female milers will have the ability to qualify for an all expenses paid trip to New York, New York to compete in the Jim Ryun Dream mile at the 2010 adidas Grand Prix (an IAAF Diamond League meeting). The race fields will be limited to12 participants. Unless more than 12 athletes eclipse the automatic qualifying standards. At which point the field will be expanded to a maximum of 16 entries (determined by invitation acceptance and declaration date). Athletes who better the provisional standard, but fail to meet the automatic qualifier will be considered if there are less than 12 auto qualifiers. Provisional qualifiers who fall within the top 12 eligible marks will also receive an all expenses paid trip to the adidas Grand Prix until the field reaches 12 participants. Only marks achieved between the dates of 1-1-2010 and 6-5-2010 at FAT timed competitions will be accepted. Email QUALIFIER@HSDREAMMILE.COM if you hit a provisional or auto mark.
