About dayton
Dayton joins Mammoth Track Club in the winter of 2025 after completing his master’s degree in Colorado. Drawn to the challenge and rhythm of training at altitude, he is excited to continue developing alongside a motivated group of athletes and coaches in Mammoth Lakes. With roots in Michigan, Dayton grew up spending summers camping and enjoying Lake Michigan with family and friends. Outside of training, he enjoys hammocking, thrifting, and time outdoors. Dayton is passionate about his faith and the way it shapes character, discipline, and perspective.
Pro career

Dayton will be debuting his post collegiate career at the USATF half marathon championships in March.
NCAA Career
Dayton begun his NCAA career at Saginaw Valley State in Michigan, where he received his undergrad degree in Business Management. He furthered his education at Adams State University, earning his master’s in Business Administration. Daytons running career includes three All-American honors in cross country, as well as claiming the silver medal in both the 5K and 10K at the 2025 NCAA Division II T&F National Championships. 28:08 for 10K and 13:32 for 5K
